Thank you

for attending our 2023

Annual Las Olas Beach clean up!

About 2023’s Event:

On July 5th, 2023 the day after Independence Day celebrations Las Olas brought the community together and cleaned up our little piece of the coastline! With the help of our volunteers, Nature Collective, Cuervo Tequila & the Coastal Run Club we were able to collect approximately 300 lbs of trash/debris and divert it into the landfill instead of in our Pacific Ocean and adjacent San Elijo Lagoon.

So far Las Olas was also able donate and raise a $5,184 contribution to the Nature Collective. Our goal is to raise awareness and financial support for the nonprofit organization for all the critical work it does to help wildlife and our ocean, including ensuring that the inlet at Cardiff State Beach remains open all year-round.

More about the Event

Every year we rally our friends and family to for a fun time and clean up our beach as well as our adjacent estuary following the Independence Day celebrations! It's a great opportunity for anyone to join and show appreciation for our beautiful coastal areas.

Location Location Location…

As you know, Las Olas' location gives us a front-row seat to the stunning Pacific Ocean and the newly restored San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve. Did you know the San Elijo Lagoon offers protected habitat for rare wildlife? As an estuary, the channels provide a habitat for small fish and shellfish to develop before reaching the Pacific Ocean. Thats why this year 2023 we have teamed up with the Nature collective and have helped raise funds and awareness of this awesome non-profit.

$5,000 donation to the Nature Collective!

Las Olas proudly donates an annual $5,000 contribution to the Nature Collective, managing stewards of the San Elijo Lagoon, a way to show our appreciation for all the critical work this nonprofit organization does to help wildlife and our ocean, including ensuring that the inlet at Cardiff State Beach remains open all year-round!

Mahalo Margaritas!

This year was extra fun! As a way to say thank you and to continue raising money we did what we know best…Margaritas! So far this year we have served up 186 ‘Mahalo Margaritas’ and counting which has raised an additional $186 dollars that we have added to our $5,000 contribution.

RSVP, MVP’s

The first 50 RSVP'd attendees all received a $5 dollar Las Olas Gift Card as way to say thank you for coming out and supporting our community!

FREE Cuervo Surfboard & Summertime Essentials!

Our partners at Cuervo, the makers of the Tradicional, the 100% De Agave Silver Tequila featured in the ‘Mahalo Margarita’ were also there along side us and graciously gave out a limited supply of beach towels, umbrellas as well as a beautifully designed and crafted twin fin surfboard! (Congratulations to Bill for winning the board in the raffle and thank you so much for your support both at the clean up and at the restaurant!!!!)
