Over the past 27 years, Mother Nature has taken her toll on several occasions, seriously affecting the entire So California coastline. The combination of strong winds, heavy rain, huge surf and high tides all occurring at the same time can create havoc along our shores (see photo). Las Olas has had the Pacific Ocean knock on our doors more than once!
Las Olas is proud to say that we have had a number of very good and loyal employees over the years. In 2007, we celebrated our "20 year club"... employees having been with us for 20 years or more, five reached this milestone. An interesting little side note.... two of the five have menu items named after them, "Nachos de Salva" after Salvador and "Ricardo's Garlic Mahi" both muy delicioso.
